2015 Black Volkswagen Transporter T5 Presale Full Valet

A local St Austell roofing Business wanted a work van to be valeted and prepared prior to sale.

Being a low milage VW Transporter the resale potential is high if in good clean order.  This Van had served as a roofer’s work horse and had it all the damage & dirt to prove it.  The Van had the been sign written from new and the customer also wanted this removed. The van was booked into the workshop for two days.

The Exterior

The sign writing was carefully removed from all surfaces including the windows.  The van was then extensively washed before going through a full tar, glue & iron decontamination.  All panels were then clay bared in preparation for machine polishing.  The sign writing had been on the van for 8 years and had left a ghosting, this is caused when the paint around the graphics fades.  The machine DA cut & polish removed both the ghosting and the swirl scratches, the result was amazing.  I finished the exterior with a yum wax and yum ceramic seal.

The Interior

The cab was deep cleaned, first vacuumed to remove any loose debris, then steam cleaned to penetrate & loosen the work grime on all the surfaces.  The headlining was steam cleaned; stain treated before wet extraction.  The front seats & steering wheel all extensively cleaned with a good leather cleaner.  The back of the van had the seats removed and all of the surfaces vacuumed, steam cleaned & shampooed most of the red paint staining was painstakingly removed.

The finished van looked factory fresh ready for sale
